I plan to give birth at a hospital but am feeling nervous due to my first birth experience. I had a terrible experience with the nurses and did not feel comfortable with the decisions made during birth. I want to avoid medical intervention as much as possible and I need someone to advocate for me. I would like natural options for progressing labor and pain management before considering drugs. I am currently on Medicaid.

Hello! I am planning to give birth in the hospital setting but hoping to have a unmedicated and low intervention delivery if possible. I am looking for a doula to support me through labor, advocate for my birth plan and preferences, and support me and baby at home after birth with feeding and care tasks. I would prefer a doula that would be covered under my Kaiser insurance plan, but willing to pay some out of pocket.

I’m currently under care of a midwife/OB group that delivers at Swedish or Littleton Adventist, but I’m planning to transfer to Colorado Birth and Wellness once I’ve done my 12 week bloodwork and appointment. And if for some reason I risk out of the birth center, I likely will try to work with the midwives at Anshutz even though they’re much further from my home than Swedish or Littleton. Budget is somewhat flexible but ideally no more than $1500-2000 each for birth doula and postpartum doula, but for the right fit, willing to adjust. I very much would like a “butter birth” aka, smooth, few stalls, lots of laboring at home, arriving at birth place to get through transition and deliver, little to no medical interventions, no epidural. Using the Body Ready Method program for body prep. Would strongly prefer someone certified in the Body Ready Method for birth doula, but open to chatting with doulas trained in Spinning Babies etc. instead. This will be our first living child. Very much want someone who can support me while not feeling good (I can be very needy when feeling sick) and support my husband as we navigate birth and postpartum. Bonus points for a postpartum doula willing and able to come support me and my husband in the next couple weeks (right now) as we continue to navigate pregnancy nausea and all the hardship that brings. As well as a postpartum doula able to support us postpartum for a daytime shift or two per week.

I plan to give birth at UCHealth Highlands Ranch. I don’t have a budget, but I have Medicaid and am wondering how much services are covered. I plan to be as natural as possible (first birth was unmedicated) but will probably opt for an epidural this time!

Birth doula for an un-medicated birth at a traditional hospital/birth center.

I plan on giving birth at North suburban hospital in Thornton. It will be my 4th delivery and also a vbac. My last baby was a c-section and my 2 before that were natural vaginal births. I have Medicaid as my insurance. I want to try for another natural vaginal birth and I just want as much support as possible to make that happen.

I plan on giving birth via TOLAC with a hope of a VBAC for my second kiddo. We are delivering at St Joseph’s hospital in Denver. I want to labor at home until I feel I have to go to the hospital, when in the hospital if I have time I would take the epidural but I want to be able to labor on my knees or squating.

Hello, I'm a first time mama looking for a doula. My husband and I are wanting the most natural birth experience while in a hospital setting and would appreciate someone else on our team advocating for and with us. Our little man is due 6/14/2025. We plan to give birth at Lutheran Medical Center, we are happy to accept student doulas as well! We are wanting minimal interventions in our birth, would like no epidural or medicine based pain management, would love a water birth, want to practice active movement and breathing through labor, and do as much laboring at home as possible.

I have medicad. i’m not sure yet where i want to deliver but i want a natural birth. im not trying to pay outta pocket.
