I am terrified. Baby actual due date is May 15 but doctor does not want me going full 40 weeks due to being high risk. I am 37 years old and had severe preeclampsia with my last pregnancy. We had not much help at all from family since both my husband’s mother and my mother have passed. My aunt was able to help for a week but she lives in Cabo and wasn’t here at night. Husband won’t be able to take work off this time. So I’m expected to do this solo and it’s overwhelming. He’s more anxious than me! And my only support during birth. So I’m looking for someone that can help me through the C-section and after through that 4th trimester. I’m blessed to have insurance. I only have acchs insurance right now and not working. I am also an African American women on baby 3 so I would like someone who at least is familiar with my background. I just want someone who can listen to my needs and wants and just show up for me and coach me through this time in my life.

I recently delivered my baby and I’m looking for a postpartum doula who can come to my home and provide Ayurvedic postpartum massage and recovery support. My body is quite sore after delivery, and I’m hoping to find someone experienced in traditional Ayurvedic postpartum care (such as Abhyanga oil massage, gentle bodywork, and recovery practices). Ideally, I would like someone who can visit my home a few times a week during the early postpartum period to help with massage and recovery guidance. Experience with Ayurvedic or Indian-style postpartum care would be preferred. My budget is around $40–$60 per hour, but I’m open to discussing options depending on the services offered.
