Plan to give birth in a hospital, not sure on budget, would love to talk through pros and cons for an epidural, am open to getting one but also interested in not - hoping for few interventions during birth and just an overall really positive birth experience. Would really like to explore options for pushing, but ultimately going in very open minded. DONA or ICEA preferred but again open to any as long as they are certified - not specific on years of experience. Would love for the doula to also be a lactation consultant if possible hoping to try to breastfeed if possible and also hoping to pump
I plan to give birth at IU North. I have 6 hours of prenatal/postpartum care covered, as well as an untimed session for birth covered. I am looking to deliver vaginally if possible, am open to an epidural and meds if needed. I am looking to breastfeed. I am covered by Tricare East.
I exclusively pump and I am needing some help to make sure I am producing enough, using correct equipment, and pumping as I should.
My baby was born premature at 34 weeks and 2 days, I am breastfeeding primarily except for one bottle of formula that helps regulate him. Recently my supply has tanked and I don’t believe I am producing enough anymore. His feed times are becoming less and less and when pumping, I barely get 2 ounces. I’m at a loss. I don’t know if I should keep trying or start formula feeding.
Looking into having a doula possibly for helo with c section , post partum and latching on for breastfeeding
I desire to have a hospital birth that is i medicated and as little intervention as possible.
I need a lactation consultant. My son is 2 months old and I'm only making 2 oz per day, max. I need one covered by Medicaid Anthem BCBS.
