This is my third child and I am looking for doula for the day time for about a month after birth. I need someone can do the cooking and cleaning of the house. Changing diapers. Babysit my two children who are seven and five. I will probably do breastfeeding as I did it last time with my daughter. I have a midwife and will deliver the baby in hospital.

Hello, I am urgently seeking an available Postpartum Doula to start within the next few days. I am having a scheduled C-section tomorrow, Friday, December 12th, as my baby is breech. I am looking for in-home support primarily to ensure I can rest and recover from the surgery while taking care of the new baby. My Family & Situation: Location: Rangeview in the SE. Family: New baby and a 4-year-old toddler who attends daycare every weekday (M-F). Feeding Plan: Planning to breastfeed. The Support I Need: I am looking for support that helps me focus on healing and bonding. This would primarily include: Light household support: Tidy-up, running a load of laundry, etc. Simple meal preparation: Light snacks and quick meals. I will be giving birth at the chinook Lethbridge hospital in Alberta. This is my second kid, first birth experience was extremely traumatic for me. I spent 3 days in hospital getting induced, 12 hours of labour after my water broke, pushed for an hour, then emergency c section. I need someone knowledgeable that can vouch for me, coach me, and help my husband be more supportive. My birth plan is natural, most likely getting an epidural, and my budget is around $650

Im looking into what my options are for a doula in Lethbridge that maybe our insurance could cover the cost of? I don’t have a budget because we don’t really have extra funds to pay out of pocket so I’m mostly wondering if finding someone we can afford is even possible. I am planning on giving birth in lethbridge at the hospital, my dream is to be able to have a water birth or at least using a tub through labor and I hope to avoid getting an epidural.
