I plan to give birth at home, I do not have much of a budget but I am willing to work through that with the right candidate! This is my first baby so I’m not sure what all is supposed to be in a birth plan so help figuring that out would be great!

I am enrolled in an Advanced Multicultural Counseling course, and for a course project I am focusing on Black maternal health and disparities in maternity care. I am reaching out to see if any doula or anyone who works within your organization might be willing to participate in a brief interview (approximately 30–45 minutes) to share insights from their professional experience supporting Black mothers. My goal is to better understand systemic barriers, protective factors, and ways mental health professionals can more effectively advocate for and support Black women during pregnancy and postpartum. Hello! I recently had a quite traumatic C-section and recovery experience. I found I am pregnant 3 months after giving birth, my doctor informed me with the right support I will be able to have a successful V-bac. This would make my pregnancies almost 12 months apart. I am so determined to have a successful V-bac and would love help, experience, and guidance throughout this journey to make it the most successful. My C-section was not warranted, I was not told my baby was sunny side up until I was pushing, then I was pushed into a csection . Knowing what I know now, I wouldn’t of had one.

Hospital 1k Bradley method mostly, goal: have the baby

Hi there, I live in Abbotsford and I’m interested in hiring a postpartum doula (night time) to help with the first few wks of baby care. I plan on giving birth at the regional hospital, and will try to keep things as natural as possible.

I plan to give birth at Ridge Meadows Hospital. There is a possibility of going to another hospital should Ridge Meadows be on a divergent schedle the day I go into labour. Once I am cleared from the hospital my husband and I will be staying with my parents in North Delta for approximately 40 days. Once this time period is complete we will be back in our home in Maple Ridge. This is my husband and I's first baby and we have hope that being with my parents will be helpful, but we would also appreciate the support of people who have specialized knowledge and perspectives other than our own. I am not certain of the cost of these support systems or how charges are done, but would appreciate if there is someone who may be able to submit to extended health particularly through Great West / Canada Life. My birth plan, at its basics is, Natural, vaginal, unmediated aside from laughing gas. I intend to take it slow and easy and allow my body to guide me as I go through labour and child birth. I am hopeful of a good outcome.

Lord willing, I will give birth to our third-born this October in Langley, BC, canada. I plan to give birth at my parents little cottage at the back of their property. Our estimated budget is up to $3,000 cad, which would provide prenatal care from around 26 weeks until I birth the baby, and then up until six weeks after. We have an OB for our firstborn. We will be delivering in the Burnaby hospital. The budget is around 1k but is flexible depending on the match. We plan to give birth naturally and with the earliest chance injection of epidural as possible.

Have a 1 month old son. Looking for overnight support/care (feedings and changes). He has gas issues we are navigating but support is needed since we have been discharged from the midwife. Potentially looking for sleep training support later on.
