About Leticia

I am fortunate to have been raised by a village of strong and caring women, and because I have always been in contact with babies and new mothers, I naturally developed a passion for childbirth and women's care. Seven years later, and in a different country, I became a certified doula providing emotional, physical, and informational support to mothers before, during, and after childbirth. I truly enjoy helping families navigate the birthing process and make informed decisions about their care by sharing the knowledge I have received from wise women since my early days. I am trained in various comfort measures such as massage, breathing techniques, and positioning and can provide guidance and support to your partners and other support persons. I also have over eight years of experience in postpartum support and breastfeeding guidance. I believe in empowering families and fostering a positive birth experience. For that reason, I am currently studying to become a midwife, so I can widen the care I provide to women of all ages. During my free time, I am always working on some craft, practicing yoga, caring for my plants, and learning more about the fantastic feminine body and energy. I am available to support your family in your birth journey, and I am excited to be a part of such a remarkable time in your lives.

What to expect

I provide emotional, physical, and informational support to new parents during the first few weeks or months after childbirth. My services include assisting with infant feeding and sleep, providing practical household support, offering guidance on newborn care and maternal recovery, providing the emotional support you need, and helping you as a new parent adjust to your new roles. I also offer resources and referrals to other professionals, such as lactation consultants, mental health professionals, pelvic floor therapists, and many others to help you navigate the postpartum period with little worry and much confidence and ease.

Leticia’s support during my transition to parenthood was beyond appreciated. She was a wealth of knowledge, always offering a listening ear and able to guide me to resources and information to make my own decisions. She was my peace and calmness when I was overwhelmed. She helped take care of my baby so I wouldn’t forget to take care of myself! I trusted her to treat him as her own. She was gentle, caring and nurturing toward my son.
