Hi, we're international intended parents from China, with a gestational carrier (surrogate) and planning to give birth at University of Kentucky Albert B. Chandler Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. This is our first baby. Our surrogate’s estimated due date is April 25, and she has shared that her previous two pregnancies both went past their due dates, so we are preparing for some flexibility around timing. We plan to stay in the United States for approximately two months postpartum, and we are primarily seeking daytime postpartum doula support, with the possibility of occasional overnight support if available. Our estimated budget is up to $45 per hour, depending on experience, scope of support, and whether care is provided during daytime or overnight hours.

Looking for a temporary night nurse while my husband goes out of town. He will be gone the nights of April 13th, 14th, and 15th. I am breastfeeding baby and want to continue to do that. Just looking for help getting baby back to sleep after night feeds as he’s currently having extra long wake windows that my husband and I usually split at night. Baby was born on 3/12. Looking for someone fully up to date on vaccines, willing to wear a mask while holding baby since he’s so young and does not have any vaccines yet. Well possibly be starting sleep training before then so we may be trying to follow a sleep schedule but have not started quite yet.
We are looking for someone to help out around the house (dishes, laundry, possible the occasional walking of our dogs). We are looking for someone licensed and experienced who can help us. Someone who can help at night so we all get a little sleep to make this transition a little easier. I’m not sure what we have for a budget
