I plan to give birth at a hospital. Since this is my first pregnancy and first birth, I am not familiar with the costs involved, so I do not have a specific budget in mind at this time. I am looking for a midwife who can support and guide me throughout my pregnancy and accompany me through the birth process.
I’d like to give Birth at home but planned for hospital currently. Not sure what these type of services cost. I was quoted $1800 for a night nurse to come twice a week after baby is born. Potentially looking for a midwife or Doula to help me through the birthing process and to advocate for me if a hospital birth is necessary. I’m a 28 F English speaking.
