Someone to support a water birth that can assist at a birthing center or for a home birth.

I plan to give birth at home, under 3,000 if possible.

I can’t find someone to help me plan a home birth, so it’s still a hospital birth. It’s my first time, I don’t have more information.

This is my first baby. My family lives in California and I live in Long Beach. So I’m in need of learning the do’s and don’ts of childbirth and afterbirth care. Also prepping my body for delivery. Ideally I would like to have a water birth because it seems safer for the baby and I. By research I’ve seen most doula’s cost $25 an hour. I do have insurance and I’m hoping that can help with the finances.

I don't trust doctors or hospitals. I would rather have a midwife someone who I have built a trustworthy relationship. And can help me through this entire process. This will be my first child. I would prefer at home birth simply because transportation is a hassle
