My ideal birth plan is an at home water brith. I currently live in Louisville Kentucky, and based on my understanding of state law, I would need either a CPM or CNM. While I would prefer to have an unmedicated home birth, my ultimate priority is the safety of my child. I am looking for someone or a team of midwives who would be comfortable transferring me to a hospital if they deemed it necessary for the health of the child. I just recently found out I was pregnant, and have not looked extensively into the cost of giving birth, so I am open as far as cost goes.

We want a female holistic RN midwife to help us thru the stressful processes of giving birth at our house who respects our wishes and demands but also gives helpful advise and will help us and know when to seek actual medical help
