Minimal intervention home birth. Looking for a midwife!

I plan to have a natural birth at Martin Hospital in Fort Benning, GA. Our budget is between 1,000-1,500. This is my third pregnancy, but it would be my first time having a midwife. I’m a huge advocate for how I would like my birth to go and I would love to have the support during and after birth this time around.

I am looking for a doula who understands the deeper emotional and spiritual side of birth. For me, bringing my baby into this world is not just a physical experience but a sacred and powerful transition. 1. Birth Location: I would love to experience a water birth, as I feel deeply connected to the calming and natural energy of water during labor. If medical support becomes necessary for the safety of my baby or myself, I am open to giving birth in a hospital environment. 2. Estimated Budget: My current budget for doula support is $200–$600, and I am open to discussing flexible arrangements if needed. 3. Birth Plan: My intention is to create a peaceful, spiritually grounded birth experience. I want to feel calm, protected, and supported as I welcome my baby into the world. I would love a doula who can help hold a nurturing and positive space, encourage breathing and grounding techniques, and support me emotionally and spiritually throughout labor. I believe birth is a powerful moment of connection between mother and child, and I want my environment to reflect love, strength, and calm energy. I am seeking someone who respects the sacred nature of birth, supports natural birthing practices, and can help me stay centered, confident, and empowered throughout the process.

I do not have a provider that I regularly see, and I am interested in establishing care with a midwife. I would love to plan for a home birth. I experience significant anxiety, and I know that being in my home environment would provide the calm and sense of safety I need for both myself and my baby to support a positive birth experience. I am a first time mom looking to give birth at my home in a kiddie pool with my loved ones present. I am low risk. I would like to give birth as naturally as possible with no medications. I want to be in a gravity focused position and no inductions. No force tearing and when I deliver I would like the umbilical cord to be left uncut until it is white and I want to keep my placenta. Since this is my first time giving birth I would like a little assistance after delivery as in care tips and latching assistance ( I plan to breastfeed ).

I’m looking for a midwife to attend my home birth in a birthing pool this coming July. I’m currently almost 22 weeks pregnant with my first child, a girl and I just moved to Santa Rosa Beach FL from California where my provider was. I would love a gentle and more hands off approach from a midwife at my birth (limited/no cervical checks, guided but not forced coached pushing, no transfer talk unless emergent etc).
