I would like to give birth at home in Columbus, GA. would like to spend no more than 6-8k if possible. I’m not sure I have a birth plan yet. I want to be as independent with my husband as possible. As natural as possible, minimal checks, I want to be able to move around as much as possible and have skin to skin and delayed cord clamping until pulsing has stopped.

Looking for a midwife- preferably licensed to help and guide an at home birth. (First birth was done at a birthing clinic) and to fill out all necessary paperwork and documentation for after birth. Currently low Rick and healthy. Moving to Texas late in my pregnancy so most birthing centers have a late gestational cut off time. We will be relocated to south Austin. And I will most likely be on state medicaid(chip?)

Hello! This is my second pregnancy, my first was 12 years ago. Carried to term, vaginal, natural. I'm 29 and just got off western medicine 3 years ago. I was taking herbal supplements to regulate my menstrual cycle and relieve chronic migraines. Since finding out I'm pregnant I had to stop my herbal medicine. I'm back to suffering from migraines and extreme nausea. I'm seeking natural and organic prenatal care, and coaching for me and my support team. For my birthing process, I want natural, organic, and holistic care, this is a spiritual journey, and I don't think hospitals nor my apartment can accommodate. I would need a birthing center, with the option for water birth, in a dark and calm environment.

Getting a midwife after finding out I’m pregnant.

Hi, I’m currently exploring options into possibly having a home birth with a midwife. My budget ranges from 1,500 to 3,500. But I’m looking for accurate numbers and advice. I don’t have a complete birth plan as of yet since I’m not sure what to decide.

I'm not exactly sure yet, I've had 3 kids & I'm looking for a different but better experience. I've always wanted to have a midwife.

I am looking for either a doula, midwife, or CNM that will allow me to attempt a VBAC. I am not yet pregnant, I am gathering information at the moment to see what my options are. I delivered my first child through c-section 20 months ago. Everything went normal (water broke on own, got to 10 cm dilated, was pushing). My son had descended in a way that my bladder was blocked and I was unable to urinate while in the hospital which led to the c-section. Currently we would be giving birth at Piedmont Midtown in Columbus, GA. I would prefer a home birth. I want support and guidance to create a safe place to have my 5th baby. I want minimal interventions and just a peaceful environment. I would like to know more about pricing as I don't know much about what a midwife costs for a home birth. My birth plan is to try a water birth but I truly would just like to labor in the comfort of my own home and be able to move around freely.

1. Highly considering home birth but initial plan is to have it in the hospital (we’re very open, I want a healthy/safe delivery for baby but I want to trust who I put in care of me) 2. My partner & I are willing to work with price ranges (was thinking $4K max, hopefully covered by insurance if possible) 3.
