This is my third pregnancy, but my first successful one. We conceived through IVF, and this baby is very much wanted and loved. At 35 years old, and due to my medical history and two miscarriages, my pregnancy has been considered high-risk from the beginning. While I am very excited, I am also understandably nervous and looking for as much support as possible throughout this journey. We’re doing a hospital birth, but haven’t decided on medication. Our est. budget is around 2000. We plan to give birth at the hospital, but I'd like to labor as long as possible at home. I am a single IVF momma by choice and looking for a doula to help fill that partner & advocate role for when the big day comes plus some general birth prep. Bonus if you also offer night nanny options but can handle that separately as well. I’m 33, I’ll be 34 when the baby arrives, I live an active life style. I want to go unmedicated if possible,maybe in a pool? Less medical intervention the better but Im looking for someone to help coach me through delivery and speak up on my behalf. Budget is flexible (I'm not sure what the going rate is, and depends on what kinds of services are included) My plan is for a natural, minimally medicated, calm birth where I can move freely. However, with a family history of breech/transverse babies, I would prefer a hospital setting.

Hi, I am looking for a doula and midwife. I am seeking a professional with a ceremonial background, as well. I am considering birthing at home or at a birthing center, depending on if I meet a midwife that I feel I want to journey with intimately. If not, I'll choose the birthing center. However, I am seeking a birth and postpartum doula that can support nourishment, ceremony, wellness, and practical support.
