My wife and I aren’t 100% sure of needs yet but we plan to deliver in hospital with our obgyn and then will likely want some help at home in the postpartum phase. Not sure if this means 5-7 days a week or 2 or what yet…. Hoping to understand better potential services and associated costs. Might want some help with overnights but likely day time could suffice as well. Ideally spending a couple thousand a month or so for a few months.

Giving birth at IMC in Murray, in June, to a little boy! Willing to be a bit flexible in cost depending on what’s offered. Don’t really know the average. I want help creating a birth plan if possible. I know some things I want (golden hour, natural as much/long as possible, not to a miserable point though, etc) but also would love to be educated on my options. Would love to be educated or guided through laboring and birthing positions, breathing techniques, just really any tips or tricks as a first time mom, I am super interested in ways my partner can help/ be included especially during labor and birth, etc. Would love someone who can help with peace of mind around vaccine do’s and don’t’s, nursing tips, etc. Overall just want someone to help calm the anxiety of all the new unknowns and make me feel more safe and confident!

I plan to give birth in the Bountiful, Utah Labor and Delivery Hospital. I am a low income pregnant mama receiving Molina Healthcare insurance through Utah Medicaid. Any assistance with budget is greatly appreciated. I hope to have an unmedicated, natural vaginal birth with little to no medical intervention. I also hope to receive postpartum care and counseling as well as lactation and breastfeeding counseling. My goal is to give birth and follow up with prenatal and newborn care as naturally and holistically as possible with medical care at hand in the case of emergencies.

We are planning on a hospital birth at the University of Utah. If covered by insurance, we will rely on the Regence BCBS budget. We plan for an unmedicated birth but are open to nitrous for pain management and in worst case scenarios will listen to medical advice on induction/pain mgmt/c-section. I'm transgender and prefer LGBTQ+ friendly providers with experience with trans parents. We are covered by regence blue cross blue shield through the university of utah.

My wife and I are expecting our first child in Late September. We have family here in the valley but we've been advised on the benefits of hiring a doula for both the birthing and postpartum phases. My wife has expressed to me the difficulties she's had with managing anxieties about things that can go wrong so any resources we can use to prepare for both pre and post partum depression would be something we're interested in too. We'd like to have those resources identified and ready to take advantage of before we need them. We are currently planning on scheduling the birth at IMC.

I am giving birth at the LDS hospital in Salt Lake City, and am due late May but may be induced early May due to gestational diabetes and pregnancy hypertension. I’m looking for a doula to support me and advocate for me while I labor unmedicated, and to help me feel safe as I’m birthing. I am also looking for a post partum doula to help with mental health support and sleep as I have pre existing mental health conditions (bipolar and OCD) my husband and I are only making $300-$500 more than our rent currently so our budget is very low but we have Medicaid and are open to low payment plans.

Intermountain health Layton Utah is where I will deliver my baby. I would like a natural birth.. 2,000 is top top of the budget. I am interested in hypnosis, coaching. English as language spoken, someone that will include my husband as he is very excited to participate. Experience in lactation, placenta encapsulation, and massage is a plush. Reiki is also something interesting to me. If they can help with postpartum meals, or cleaning that is a plus but not required. We live in Ogden utah. And no special circumstances besides it is my first baby!!!

I plan on giving birth in a hospital. I want to have a natural birth with delayed cord clamping. Needs to work with Tricare west- they mention that authorized doulas must meet specific certification, training, and experience requirements, including certification from approved organizations like DONA, CAPPA, or ICEA, and signing a participation agreement. Overall would like to get some preparation before/after birth + assistance during birth.
