This is my first pregnancy and the only support person I have is my mother. I just want someone else to be there who can help and be extra support. I plan on giving birth at Lovelace Women’s Hospital. Wanting to see if my Medicaid will cover the cost.

1. This will be my 4th birth, 5th baby. I had twins first. I wanted to give birth at home like I did last time, but was just diagnosed with placenta previa. 2. Flexible 3. I will be planning for a hospital birth with my current diagnosis. Best case, a spontaneous/ unmedicated birth, but may need a cesarean. I’ve hired doulas in the past and realize the importance of having that extra voice to advocate and support you in this vulnerable situation.

Plan on giving birth at St. Luke’s Boise. We already have a current 10 month old, will be 17 months old by the time the second baby comes. My husband works very early in the morning to very late at night. Would love if someone could help with the newborn during the night if possible

Hi there, My name is Hannah, and I’m currently 31 weeks pregnant and seeking a birth (+/- postpartum) doula for my upcoming TOLAC at Christus in Santa Fe with the midwives. A bit of background: my first birth in San Diego ended in a traumatic emergency c-section. This is my second, and I’m preparing for what I hope to be a redemptive VBAC with this pregnancy. I had a doula with my first and found her support invaluable. For this time around, I’m specifically looking for someone who: Is trauma-informed or trauma-sensitive. I’m very modest by nature and want support in maintaining boundaries during labor (physically and medically, with staff). I would also love someone to help guide my husband so he can best support me—especially as I’m hoping to labor without medication if possible, as I tried last time (and our doula was exceptional at helping him to help me!). I went 24 hours last time but ultimately had severe back labor and got the epidural (after which came more cascade of interventions...). Has experience with movement-based or hands-on techniques. I respond extremely well to bodywork, massage, and hands-on techniques for pain control and grounding during labor. My first baby was acynclitic and malpositioned, so I’d especially appreciate someone with Spinning Babies and/or rebozo (or other type of training to achieve optimal baby positioning). It is not a must, but would be a huge bonus. My estimated due date is January 13th. If you have availability, I’d love to learn more about your approach and services, as well as your fee structure.
