I had a doula with my 1st of 6 children, only 1 was medicated and this is my last pregnancy but I always wished Medicaid would come on board. My new partner is uneducated to unmedicated birth or doulas and was completely helpless during our last child’s birth and I would really like better support this time around.

I plan to give birth at a hospital. I’m open to pricing conversations. This is my first time as a mom so I don’t know where to begin with budget talks. I want to labor at home as long as I can with support before going to the hospital to reduce interventions that are unnecessary. I want to try my best not to have an epidural. I want to be free to be in different positions to help the baby move through. Afterwards i don’t want to be rushed to cut the umbilical cord or have them push on my stomach to force the placenta out. I want it to happen naturally and if interventions are needed that’s the only time I want to consider. I do want to try my best to breastfeed but I don’t want to strictly nurse. I’m interested in pumping and possibly combo feeding.

I’m new to having a midwife, my last baby was born in a hospital. I’m interested in receiving all prenatal care at home and possibly even giving birth at home. I don’t really have a plan yet, I just want to know more, including costs.

Hello! My wife and I are looking for a postpartum doula for support in those early few weeks after I give birth (due Dec. 10) since we live far from family and other supports. Types of help we’re interested in includes physical care (e.g. food/snacks, hydration), light household care (e.g. tidying), emotional support, and support/tips for infant care.

Home birth planned with midwife. Husband is in US Air Force and will be gone for birth and some postpartum. I have 4 other children I will need help with, ages 9-1.

Birth plan would be to stay as natural as possible, but not opposed to medical needs like an epidural if I decide I want one.
