I need someone to tell me that this is going to be OK and everyone goes through this and to help me sort out my mind and get my mind, right I just want to be happy with my child and I’m not as happy as I can be with him right now and I don’t know how to change things. I’m not sure how to go about this I know my first birth was disastrous they kept trying to get me to do a c-section, ignored me when I said I wanted my placenta and threw it away, disrespected my mom instead of just talking to her. Hi, we're international intended parents from China, with a gestational carrier (surrogate) and planning to give birth at University of Kentucky Albert B. Chandler Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. This is our first baby. Our surrogate’s estimated due date is April 25, and she has shared that her previous two pregnancies both went past their due dates, so we are preparing for some flexibility around timing. We plan to stay in the United States for approximately two months postpartum, and we are primarily seeking daytime postpartum doula support, with the possibility of occasional overnight support if available.
