I plan to give birth at U of L in downtown Louisville. Since it is fully out of pocket, I am hoping to spend less than 1500$ This will be my first child, I am due in late July. I am wanting to go as natural as possible, but since I really have no idea what to expect as far as what my body will feel, I want to be open to doing what I feel I need at the time. I very much want to naturally go into labor rather than having to use Pit to induce. My wife will be with me, but I would love to have someone there that is focusing solely on being my advocate and making the experience as smooth as possible. I would ideally love to not have an epidural, but I also want to prepare to give myself grace in the moment if I decide to change my mind.

Hi there! I’m planning to use the Tree Of Life Birth Center. I’m wanting to find a doula to help me with knowledge and planning, as well as encouragement with labor. This is my first pregnancy and I’d love to go the all natural route. I know that will be much easier with knowledge and support.
