I plan to give birth at Meriter Hospital in Madison, WI because of the insurance I have. My estimated budget is between $900 to $1,600. For my birth plan I plan to have a completely natural unmedicated birth. I want to move around freely and try different positions and also use a tub and see if I want to give birth in it when the time comes. I prefer to have my water rupture naturally. I want limited cervical exams and no membrane sweep and no IV. I want food and water during labor. I want immediate skin to skin when baby comes out, delayed cord clamping, no bath for baby, and I want to breastfeed right away.

I need support while giving birth and for post partum. This is the first time I am ever having a baby and I am scared.

Plan to give birth in a hospital. I’m wanting to do what’s best for me and the baby but I know that shower/water as part of my birth would be something I want to try and incorporate. Dont know yet what the hospital offers, I would like to maybe labor as much as possible at home. The hospital I plan to go to is 5 min down the road from me.
