When should I contact a doula?

You can reach out at any stage of pregnancy — early or later. Many families choose to connect in the second trimester, but it is never too late to receive support.

Do you replace my medical provider or partner?

No. I work alongside your medical team and your partner. My support is additional — focused on emotional presence, reassurance, comfort techniques, and helping you navigate the experience.

Can you support hospital births, birth centers, or home births?

Yes. I support hospital and birth center births. My focus is on providing continuous emotional, physical, and informational support in these settings. I do not attend home births, but I am happy to support you in preparing for your birth experience.

How do you support during labor?

During labor, I stay with you continuously. I offer emotional reassurance, comfort measures, positioning suggestions, breathing support, and help your partner feel more confident and involved.

Do you support postpartum as well?

Yes. Postpartum support can include emotional processing, adjustment to life with a newborn, feeding support guidance, and helping you feel more grounded during the early transition into motherhood.

What if I don’t know what kind of support I need yet?

That is completely okay. Many families begin here. We can talk together, explore your needs, and shape the support in a way that feels right for you.

Do you offer consultations before booking?

Yes. I offer free consultations so we can connect, talk about your needs, and see whether we feel like a good fit to work together.

What makes your approach different?

My approach is calm, emotionally present, and deeply supportive. I focus not only on preparation, but also on how you feel throughout the experience — because emotional safety is just as important as information.

Do you support partners as well?
