About me

Hi, my name is Kasey Tolliver. I’m a mom of two, a doula, and a community health worker. My journey into birth work began after my first child was born by C-section. I struggled with postpartum depression and anxiety, and during that challenging season I found comfort and connection in local moms’ groups. Being surrounded by mothers with similar experiences lit a fire in me, I knew I wanted to support women through these vulnerable, powerful moments. I became a doula to deepen my knowledge of childbirth and to better serve families. After completing my certification, I went on to achieve a successful, non-medicated VBAC with my second child—an experience that strengthened my confidence and reinforced my belief in the power and resilience of birthing women. Today, my mission is to remind women of their strength, ensure families receive the care and respect they deserve wherever they choose to give birth, and help create the safest, healthiest experience possible for both mom and baby.

Service introduction

Bolden Belly Bliss offers compassionate, full-spectrum birth and postpartum doula support rooted in education, advocacy, and gentle care. Services include personalized prenatal visits focused on birth and postpartum planning, continuous labor and birth support, and nurturing postpartum care that supports healing, bonding, and confidence during the early stages of parenthood. As a VBAC mama who has experienced both a cesarean birth and a successful natural, unmedicated vaginal birth, I bring lived experience alongside professional training. I understand the physical and emotional preparation required for unmedicated births, as well as the unique considerations involved in planning a VBAC. This allows me to support families with evidence-based education, comfort measures, emotional reassurance, and advocacy—especially those seeking physiologic birth or healing after a previous birth experience. Families may choose from thoughtfully designed birth packages or postpartum-only services, including hourly support, meal preparation assistance, and extended care through the first year. Wellness-focused offerings such as herbal support, sitz baths, yoni steams, and restorative postpartum experiences are also available to promote rest, recovery, and nourishment. Bolden Belly Bliss is grounded in trauma-informed, judgment-free support—helping parents feel empowered, supported, and confident in their birth choices from pregnancy through postpartum.
