I’m Ekei, a birth and wellness professional devoted to nurturing, advocating for, and empowering families through every stage of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. My calling began at 13, when I supported my sister during the birth of her child and first witnessed the sacred strength of bringing life into the world. I’m a certified Hatha Yoga Instructor, a Full Spectrum Doula trained through I Be Black Girl, and CPR-certified through the American Heart Association. I offer trauma-informed, culturally grounded care rooted in the legacy of my great-grandmother Naomi, “Moma”, and the Black Grand Midwives who served their communities with unmatched skill and compassion. Today, as a midwife-in-training, I support families of all backgrounds—especially Black, LGBTQ+, and neurodivergent parents—through yoga, birth planning, education, and hands-on doula care. My mission is simple: to make every birthing person feel safe, respected, and deeply supported. You are worth every petal
