During my journey through early motherhood, I saw the struggles of myself and friends. I found a passion for helping others. While doing my training to become a postpartum doula, I realized I also loved learning about breastfeeding. This ignited a fire for me to complete the certification process to become a lactation consultant as well. Hello my name is Nia, I was introduced to the wonderful world of birth work during my sister’s pregnancy. As I was helping the practitioner, she hinted at the fact that she was a Doula. Adding, that I would do well in that field due to my caring nature. After more research, I began seeing the need for this service and fell in love with this industry.
