Hospital birth, will need support in developing a birth plan. Would prefer an experienced black woman. Insured by BCBS
I’m searching for a free doula. I’m okay with someone just starting out. But I only have the support of my husband and best friend who just became a single mom so her support is limited. I have very little income (about $200/month) and am on Medicaid and SNAP. I’m 19 weeks pregnant.
Kennestone or north side hospital my estimated budget is 1500
I am looking for someone who can help and provide my husband and I through the birth/ delivery of our son. The birth will happen in a hospital and someone who is well educated on potientially birth and postpartum issues in African American women/births.
I am pregnant with my first at 42 so higher risk. Need a duola to assist with the birth and help after a bit as neither of our moms are free to help. Child birth education may be a small part or night nanny/nurse but the only definite is a duola for labor and to check on us after.
I am looking for a doula and postpartum doula to support my first pregnancy. I plan to birth at the hospital, but I would love to learn more about home births.
Birth in hospital 3500 I don’t have a birth plan as of yet
We are giving birth at the Wellstar Northfulton Hospital in Roswell GA. We re planning on doing a water birth and our budget is between 500-1700
I am having a hospital birth at northside hospital. I am hoping to have an unmedicated birth and no c section unless a medical emergency. I want to be able to move around as much as possible and do different positions (not just lying on my back) I would like some time before the placenta comes out (hopefully it will detach on its own) I don’t want any Pitocin and I would like myself and the baby’s dad to be able to do skin to skin contact with the baby the first hour. Had a full term vaginal birth before back in October 2012, I’ve never had a doula before so I don’t know the cost but I am interested in having one.
I plan on giving birth in a hospital. My insurance covers expenses
Hospital delivery high risk due to age and previous pregnancy Medicaid
1. Hospital 2. I don’t know 3. I would prefer a natural birth
Mainly birth support. I really don’t want to have a c section unless medically necessary. Would like to try without an epidural but am not fully against it.
Northside Atlanta Hospital 1200 or less VBAC Kaiser Permanete GA Signature Gold HMO $1500 $30
I am considered a high-risk pregnancy due to complications in my previous pregnancy. During my last pregnancy I experienced severe preeclampsia and stopped breathing, which was a life-threatening situation. Because of this history, I want additional support during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. A doula can help monitor my well-being, provide emotional and physical support, help reduce stress, and assist with recognizing warning signs early. This support can also help reduce my risk of postpartum complications and improve my overall health outcomes.
I am looking for a more holistic and birth centered care for my current pregnancy.
Plan on giving birth at Northside off the perimeter. Our due date is April 22 will be induced the week prior depending OB schedule. Would like to stick under 1,500. For first plan, I would like the best pain management extremely anxious about this therefore would like a Doula who can coach me through non-pharmaceutical intervention as well as being comfortable with epidurals.
1. 5 years of experience 2. open to age, as long as they have experience 3. sleep training 4. What is the budget
Hospital I will be using Medicaid Just hoping for a safe smooth delivery no problems or testing is my goal. No c sections is my goal as well
Wellstar Kennesaw $5000 Unsure. I have to crest a birth plan.
