Hello! My name is Melissa Butler. I am a doula who firmly believes in advocacy, especially in the birth space. I specialize in VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean). My goals include: educating you on your options while remaining neutral so that you have a safe person to come to in times of uncertainty; involving partner in being hands-on in supporting you during labor and postpartum; assisting you in advocating for your desires surrounding labor and birth; cultivating a relationship with you that makes you feel heard and validated. I also offer professional placenta encapsulation, in-home birth preparation sessions, as well as birth photography and film—no, not with an iPhone ;) Reach out if you’re excited to have me on your team!
