I want to give birth at home I'm not sure on budget

I plan to give birth in a hospital, but looking for a CNM that bills my insurance (BCBS HMO) and specializes in natural/low-intervention birth support.

I am wanting to try and have a home birth for my pregnancy and am new to milledgeville ga, therefore, I have no knowledge on any midwife’s near me that can help me. Unsure of a budget because I’m not familiar with how much it costs usually!

I plan to give birth at OU hospital in Oklahoma City, I am covered through my husbands united health care plan. I plan on having a VBAC birth, my husband wants to cut the cord, once its completely white. I also want to be able to move freely and comfortably during labor. We do not want baby to get jell in eyes once born. and no shots the first 24 hours after birth. I am located in Oklahoma city.

Home Birth. Would like a birthing pool; willing to transfer to hospital if medically necessary. Plan on bottle feeding. I have caresource maternity hip and would like to be as cost affordable as possible with limited income.

This is my first pregnancy so I do not have all the answers so I’m not sure what’s the best approach for anything. Thats why I am seeking help. I am based in Albany, GA. Ideally I would give birth in the hospital since the home I reside is not suitable to my standards. I am currently trying to get pregnancy medicaid to assist with payment because I am not working. I would love to have a home birth, but would also be open to having an advocate to support me with a natural birth in a hospital, if a home birth is out of my budget. I would like to birth at home. Budget would be low, we are a one-income family on state issued insurance. I have had three successful hospital births. I have a very supportive husband who is a practicing Paramedic. My husband caught our most recent child upon delivery. I labor for about a day but transition and deliver very quickly. I would plan on a very hands off natural way of delivery. I've longed for the calm and peace of being in my own home and not having nurses prod and check according to hospital protocols. The only drug I would use if allowed would be nitrous oxide.
