My Anthem Gold PPO insurance officially activates on August 1st. I'd like to match and secure a doula now so that all of my care and the birth can be billed directly to Anthem once my coverage starts. My budget is under $2,000. Plan on giving birth at the hospital, I have blue shield promise which will cover doula coats hopefully as I cannot afford. Hopefully I can find a doula who is open minded, helpful, and willing to pass on knowledge as this is my first child.

We would like this birth to be as positive and as natural as possible with little to no intervention, but understand hospital transfers do happen and that’s perfectly ok.
