Planning on having a hospital birth. The current birth plan is a c-section due to prior spinal surgeries the mother has had. The only people present in the hospital room will be the mother, husband, doula, doctors, and nurses pre-birth and during. We would prefer if the provider has certifications and at least 3 years of experience. We do not require any additional languages other than English. The mother is classified as advanced maternal age. Parental education and preparation would be preferred. Estimated budget is $1000 - $1600 per month in costs.

I plan to give birth at BSA. I am looking for a doula covered by tricare and who takes tricare. I currently do not have a birth plan and I am looking forward to making one with my doula.

Want Dad to Help Deliver Baby If possible, I’d like my partner to assist with the delivery and be an active part of catching or welcoming our baby. ⸻ 👶 After Birth Delayed Cord Clamping Please wait until the umbilical cord stops pulsing and turns white before cutting it, allowing the baby to receive extra oxygen-rich blood. Dad Cuts the Cord I want my partner to cut the cord once it’s completely white, symbolizing our baby’s smooth transition. Immediate Skin-to-Skin Place my baby directly on my chest after birth to encourage bonding, warmth, and stable breathing. Early Breastfeeding I plan to start breastfeeding as soon as possible after birth to promote bonding and milk flow. Hi Kayla! I'm a mom of 6 - we recently had our second set of twins, 5 weeks old. I'm wondering what type of post-delivery care you provide? As it was with my first set of twins, I'm finding it difficult to meet all of the babies' newborn needs (being held while I breastfeed one, holding or soothing to sleep, etc) while managing my own needs (food and water, haha!). I think we just need some help for a few weeks during the day while my husband is at work. Is this something you do?
