This is my first pregnancy and both my partner and I will be first time parents. I’m looking for help understanding my body as baby and I continue to grow. I live far from my mother and sisters so it’s a very emotional time without that support. I would love to learn new things for baby safety, feeding, sleep as well as what’s good for me as I’m nourishing myself and baby. I plan to give birth in the hospital with very minimal interventions, but I’m currently unsure what a back up plan would look like and I could use some support with creating that backup plan. Our first birth plan is to be very intimate and peaceful but my partner can also use some understanding and learning points for how to support, and where, at the time of birth. Once baby arrives, my partner won’t have the opportunity to be home with us long, and I’m planning to be home for 2 months postpartum. We would absolutely love the night support and the continuous learning. We have family support but we really want the first week to be only us and baby, as well as have strong boundaries with family about baby with hygiene and safety so this is where the help would come in. I feel like there is more to discuss to better understand match, but I am still very new!

I’m looking for an experienced newborn care provider with at least 3+ years of experience. Must be certified in infant CPR and first aid. Care will be for a newborn, so experience with feeding, diaper changes, and soothing is important. Light household help such as baby laundry and bottle cleaning is a plus. Budget around $20–$25/hr.
