Hey loves! I’m Michellee, a full spectrum doula serving most of NJ, NYC & Virtually. Being the oldest daughter of 7 siblings I naturally activated my mother instincts at a young age. I remember being 13 or 14 and always enjoyed watching A Baby Story. I would tell myself that I wanted to be an Ob but after watching, the Business of Being Born,I knew I was meant to be a Midwife. I’ve birthed 4 precious babies naturally and on my own terms! 3 of my births being in a hospital and my 4th being an unassisted home birth. I have been apart of the doula world since 2017, assisting families taking control of their births and their postpartum journeys. My ultimate goal is to be an amazing midwife serving all families in my community. Being a woman of color my mission is to educate women like myself on the fact that they too can have a calm and relaxing birth and postpartum period. I have over 12 years of breastfeeding experience both from personal experience and training. I am certified by the Neonatal Resuscitation Program. I enjoy living my life on the holistic side. I may offer you a tea instead of an aspirin. Lol I am fluent in both English, Spanish and some Portuguese. I pride myself in being super informative and educational, like a walking birth world encyclopedia or birth world Siri. Some of my hobbies including, reading, visiting any body of water, hanging out with family and karaoke. I have experience with vbac, home births, hospital births, inductions, and csections. I have assisted postpartum families struggling with feeding, Postpartum Depression/Anxiety, and single parent homes. Rest assured that not only your baby but your house hold will be well taken care throughout your journey if you decide to include me.
