About me

Hello! My name is Mikah, and I support families through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and lactation by providing emotional, physical, and informational care. My goal is to help birthing people feel heard, supported, and confident as they move through such a life-changing experience. My passion for this work began within my own family, where I saw how meaningful, consistent support can be during the early days of welcoming a new baby. My foundation, along with continued education in postpartum care, shapes the way I show up for every family with intention, compassion, and care. Service introduction

Gentle postpartum and newborn care designed to support rest, healing, and a smooth transition after birth. Services include overnight support, feeding assistance, light meals, tidying up, and maintaining a calm, comforting space so that families can rest and bond with ease. The services cover Atlanta areas 30331, 30213, 30336, 30349, 30311, 30168, 30318, 30310, and 30314 within a 25 minute drive. Some of my favorite ways to care for mothers and their families are definitely prepping the baby for sleep and maintaining a clean area. I love how families are able to get much needed rest, know that their baby is safe, and knock something off their to-do list.

My typical overnight shift includes cleaning baby bottles and related items, changing baby's diaper frequently, bathing baby if the family is comfortable, setting up the pumping station, preparing and warming up the bottle, feeding and burping baby consistently, creating a comfortable environment (dim lights, light music), and tidying up.

Daytime Nanny/Doula

My typical day shift includes cleaning baby bottles and related items, organizing/tiding up baby area, preparing everything to make nursing simple (bring in baby, set out pumping stations, etc), offering encouraging and validating support, burping baby, preparing light meals for family using their ingredients (smoothies, charcuterie boards, sandwiches), changing baby's diaper, engaging baby in activities (reading to them, playing with colors/smells, etc), massaging mom, and creating a comfortable environment.
