I am a plus sized pregnant woman in her 8th week. Hi I am looking for birth doula practitioner. I have Manulife coverage and have budget under Social Worker category. I saw you have the title, and would like to know if it will qualify so I can be reimbursed. Thanks!
I am planning to give a birth at Mount Sinai hospital. Looking for person to help with preparing for delivery and breastfeeding.
We are looking for someone to help us with overnight care for our newborn a couple of times per week for the next few months, starting as soon as possible (feeding, diaper changes, soothing to sleep, sleep supervision and light cleaning duties such as bottle cleaning). We are ideally looking for someone with at least 5 years experience looking after newborns. Our budget is $30/hour depending on background and experience. In the long run we will also be looking for regular help during the day time. We have recently moved here from overseas so only have family here to support us temporarily, so will need ongoing support.
* Overnight newborn care: diapering, soothing, burping, settling and getting baby back to sleep. * Breastfeeding support: bring baby to me only when a feed is needed, then take over immediately afterward. If you pump/use bottles, nanny handles the feeding when possible. * Maximize uninterrupted sleep: structure nights so i am not waking for every diaper change, burp or settling. * Bottle/pump management: wash and sterilize bottles and pump parts, prepare feeds and safely store breast milk/formula. * Newborn sleep habits: gradually establish appropriate day/night differentiation and good sleep routines—not formal sleep training in the newborn stage. * Basic overnight baby tasks: restock changing supplies and keep the feeding/changing area organized. * Experience and safety: infant CPR/first aid, safe-sleep knowledge, newborn experience and strong references.
This is my first brith and I need help preparing. I'm giving birth at Cortellucci hospital because its close to my mom in case of bad weather. We don't have a birth plan and hoping someone could help me with this.
