I am currently planning for a home birth with a midwife. if medical care or intervention becomes necessary I will relocate to a hospital birth in the Montgomery, Alabama area. I am looking for a midwife who is experienced in supporting physiological, unmedicated birth and who values calm, intuitive, low-intervention care. I hope to find someone who believes in informed consent, respects the natural birth process, and creates a peaceful, supportive environment. My ideal birth setting includes dim lighting, minimal interruptions, freedom of movement, and encouragement to follow my body’s instincts throughout labor. I would love support with water labor, position changes, breathwork, relaxation techniques, and involving my husband as an active part of the birth experience. My birth plan is centered around an unmedicated, holistic birth with the option for water labor and, if appropriate, a water birth. I prefer intermittent monitoring if I remain low-risk, minimal vaginal exams, and avoiding unnecessary interventions or labor augmentation unless medically necessary. If intervention becomes necessary, I value clear communication, time to ask questions, and being included in every decision. After birth, I hope for immediate skin-to-skin contact, delayed cord clamping, uninterrupted bonding time, and a gentle postpartum experience that supports breastfeeding and informed newborn care decisions. My budget is flexible depending on experience, services included, and payment plan options. Above all, I am looking for a compassionate, knowledgeable midwife who will help me feel safe, respected, empowered, and supported throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period.

I plan to give birth at home, under 3,000 if possible.

I will give birth in Auburn, AL. I would like to have no epidural.
