I'm working with the Midwife Clinic at Marin Health and plan to give birth at Marin Health. I'm interested in what is covered with my insurance! I'm most interested in postpartum help (night especially but day would be great too.) I'm also interested in a doula for the birth, if it is partly/mostly covered. I am in need of a doula to guide myself and my husband, Shaheen, through the pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum period (including breastfeeding). We are hoping you can provide us with specific, actionable ways for Shaheen to support me during pregnancy, especially during labor, and during the postpartum period. I hope to labor at home as long as possible, avoid the epidural if possible, and I really would like to avoid a C-section.
