I’m not exactly sure, I’ve never done this and I’m wanting an at home birth if possible. My budget is probably around $4,000-$5,000.
First birth, giving birth at hospital hopefully in the birthing center. Unsure of budget. Unmedicated. Honestly I’m not sure on a lot of things. Just want to speak to someone about options and pricing.
I plan to give birth at a hospital in Nashville. Since our insurance does not cover a doula our estimated budget is $1000. I am not sure exactly what my birth plan will be. With a medical condition I think I do plan to get the epidural at some point. I do want delayed cord clamping, no eyedrops, and minimal interventions. I want my provider to be certified and have experience helping first time moms that do not deal with pain well. I am 25 and possible have POTS or Vasovagal syncopy. I would love someone who also is a lactation consultant
My insurance requires that I give birth at Centennial Hospital. I know I don't want to labor on my back. I don't really have a birth plan yet. I'm nervous about giving birth at Centennial because I don't know anyone else who has given birth there.
I’ll give birth at the Maury Regional Hospital I don't know very well how much the costs are for a Doula, so we want to see the prices I don’t have a birth plan yet
Hi Cyndi, I found your profile while looking for some postpartum support for my cousin Toto, and honestly, reading your bio made me so hopeful. Toto had twin boys on June 24 in Baxter after a really tough C section, and she is in the absolute thick of it right now. She is beyond exhausted, struggling with feeding, and trying to heal from major surgery. The fact that you are a twin mom yourself immediately caught my eye because you actually get what she is living through right now. To make things harder, Toto is carrying so much of the mental load alone. Her own mom flew in from overseas to help, which is incredibly sweet, but she does not speak English, cannot drive, and cannot navigate any of the US systems or doctors. Toto is basically taking care of her mom on top of recovering and caring for two newborns. She desperately needs someone to take care of her. Between your own twin journey, your culinary background (having someone cook nourishing meals and those organic lactation treats for her would be huge), and your focus on postpartum recovery, you feel like the absolute perfect person to step in. A group of us are pooling our money to gift her a solid month of care so she can finally sleep, eat well, and rest. We saw your four week and six week packages, which look wonderful. We know those are set for eight hours a week, but since we are hoping to gift her a much higher volume of support for that first month, we would love to know if you have the availability to scale up to a custom schedule with more weekly hours. Since you are based in Chattanooga, we know Baxter is a bit of a drive. Would you be open to traveling there, and if so, how do you usually handle travel? We are completely open to combining shifts, like turning the four hour overnights into longer eight hour blocks, or clustering daytime hours, to make the commute as easy and worthwhile as possible for you. I am actually coordinating this from New Zealand, so email or messaging here is the easiest way for me to chat through options and see if this could work. Lots of love, Bee 🫶🏼 & on behalf of Toto's whole village
