Family seeking overnight newborn support in Nesconset NY. We’ll be welcoming our second son at the end of April. Our budget is $45-$55 per hour for an 8 hour shift 2-3x per week.

I plan on giving birth at the Vassar brothers Hospital in Poughkeepsie. My estimated budget is anywhere from 2500 to 3500. My birth plan is flexible at this point. I’m still trying to decide what’s best for me. I’m not opposed to a medicated plan. I would like the Doula to be certified and to have at least 2 to 3 years of experience. I would like lots of resources to childbirth education classes.

I am looking for either a labor doula or a postpartum doula. If my baby is born via cesarean, I'm looking for a labor doula who can provide postpartum services instead- so someone who is flexible to switching should my labor needs change closer to my due date.

Sam will take off one week to ten days for paternity leave and then another week or so later in the year. We have a two year old son (Hugo) who will be in school from 8:30 to 1:30 Monday through Friday.
