Overnight Postpartum Certified Doula We’re expecting the arrival of our second child in late February and we’re looking for a postpartum doula. Below are details on the job but a bit more about us, we’re both full time working professionals and will be in parental leave to bond with the newborn for some time. Wed like assistance with the newborn and do it with more help this second round. At house is our beloved dog, a golden retriever and our grandma who lives downstairs as well as our daughter who will be almost 2 at the time of hire. 
 This is a short-term position for Postpartum Doula services starting on the day after deliver which is expected to be February, 25th 2025 and for a total of 6 weeks after delivery for up-to 15 hours in a 24-hr cycle but expected to be 12 hour night shifts. As with all due dates, the baby may arrive before or after so flexibility is a must. The tentative schedule is from 7PM to 7AM (Overnight). You’ll have to complete an attestation form to confirm eligibility. This entails having an active, up-to-date doula certification from a doula-certifying organization up until May 2025. Organizations include but are not limited to DONA International, CAPPA, ICEA, and BirthWorks International. We’d set up a contract with an initial deposit and pay will most likely be via HomePay for tax and record keeping purposes. This is my first baby. I plan to give birth at the hospital. I’d like to go into labor naturally and steer away from the epidural unless absolutely necessary. I don’t know what the budget is as I’ve never done this before so would like to talk to someone.

Induction date is scheduled for 3/13/2025. Our budget is a about 500 a week. Services won’t be need until a lot about 2.5-3.5 weeks after delivery.
