My name is Kelsey, and I’m currently 20 weeks pregnant with my first child, due on July 3, 2026. I’m an active-duty Navy pilot with TRICARE Prime. I’m in a bit of a unique situation, as I’ll be PCS’ing from Hawaii to Point Loma at the end of April 2026, which means I’ll be transferring care mid-pregnancy. Because of this transition, I’m hoping to connect early and thoughtfully with a midwifery practice that can help make the move as smooth and supported as possible. I’m very interested in pursuing a home birth and learning about the best options for a natural first birth. In addition, my faith is very important to me, and I’m hoping for a birth experience that is not only physiologically supported but also spiritually grounded. As a Christian, I value prayer, peace, and intentionality surrounding birth, and I’m seeking a team that is comfortable supporting that kind of environment.
