I want some help prepare for childbirth delivery.

This will be my first child and I plan to give birth at a hospital. I don’t have a birth plan

I am considered a high-risk pregnancy due to complications in my previous pregnancy. During my last pregnancy I experienced severe preeclampsia and stopped breathing, which was a life-threatening situation. Because of this history, I want additional support during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. A doula can help monitor my well-being, provide emotional and physical support, help reduce stress, and assist with recognizing warning signs early. This support can also help reduce my risk of postpartum complications and improve my overall health outcomes.

First pregnancy. Will be giving birth in hospital. Estimated budget of $1000-1500. Birth plan would be to stay as natural as possible, but not opposed to medical needs like an epidural if I decide I want one. Whether that be through breathing techniques, deferred sensation like a birth comb, water, etc. Want to avoid a C-section unless emergency demands it. Delayed cord clamp and immediate skin to skin as long as not an emergency. Want to try breastfeeding, and pumping, but not opposed to formula if needed.

First time mom/parents getting increasingly worried about our lack of knowledge of childbirth while hearing so many horror stories about the malpractices of doctors in labor and delivery. I am a first time mom looking to give birth at my home in a kiddie pool with my loved ones present. I am low risk. I would like to give birth as naturally as possible with no medications. I want to be in a gravity focused position and no inductions. No force tearing and when I deliver I would like the umbilical cord to be left uncut until it is white and I want to keep my placenta. Since this is my first time giving birth I would like a little assistance after delivery as in care tips and latching assistance ( I plan to breastfeed ).

I will be using insurance Medicare to cover my delivery, so I am looking for someone who accepts insurance-based clients and works within those guidelines.
