I'm working with the Midwife Clinic at Marin Health and plan to give birth at Marin Health. I'm interested in what is covered with my insurance! I'm most interested in postpartum help (night especially but day would be great too.) I'm also interested in a doula for the birth, if it is partly/mostly covered. I have a 3 year old and live with my son, husband, and bernedoodle in San Francisco.

Hoping to find an insurance covered birth doula to help me through my john muir hospital birth with the goal of going as natural as possible with low interventions. Planning for a physiological birth with the use of tens , counter pressure, essential oils, etc. My insurance is blue shield and I have an HMO.
