About me

Hi there! I am a full spectrum doula (birth, postpartum, and even stillbirth/miscarriage/abortions) serving the Spokane and North Idaho areas, and have experience with twin births, intervention-free births, and births with no interventions involved. I serve birth people however and wherever they would like to birth. When I'm not attending births and helping postpartum families, I'm fostering kitties for a local rescue, while also loving on my new grandson. I can't wait to be able to support you!

Service introduction

I help emotionally support people during their pregnancies, births/labors, and in the postpartum periods. I also offer support services for bereavement/pregnancy loss and abortion care. Working with a partner means that I always have backup care, too.

Packages

Birth Doula Package

You get 2 prenatal meetings, support during your labor and delivery, and 2 postpartum support visits. I work on a sliding scale from $1100-1300 and YOU choose the price point that works for you.

Postpartum Doula Services

Let me help you with things such as lactation support, caring for a newborn, light housekeeping, light meal prep, light laundry, helping the birth person shower/bathe, emotional support, running errands, grocery pickup/ordering

Nighttime Postpartum Care

You get some sleep and let me handle the baby at night! From 7pm-7am, I provide care for you and your new baby. Five hour-minimum on these shifts! I'll feed the baby (or bring them to you so you can feed them), put them back to sleep, hold them, do some light housekeeping, light meal prep, etc. all while you get some much-needed sleep!

Why are birth doulas helpful?

Research shows us that a ton of things happen when a doula is present for a birth, such as helping the birth person have a more positive birth experience, that have less interventions during labor and delivery. Having one present lessens the chance of the delivery ending in an emergency c-section. Having a doula present decreases the length of labor, as well as decreasing requests for epidurals. Doulas help to lower stress and and anxiety during labor, and we also give support to not just the laboring person but their partner, as well.

Please reach out! I'm more than willing to be flexible, with payment plans and even decreased pricing if that's the only thing stopping you from utilizing my services. I want every birth person who wants and needs support, to have that support.
