This is my first pregnancy and I’m still in the very early stages, so I’m looking for someone who is highly knowledgeable, experienced, and well-educated who can help guide me through the process. I don’t have a birth plan yet and haven’t decided where I would like to give birth. I’d love someone who can educate me on my options, answer my questions, help me understand what to expect, and support me in making informed decisions as my pregnancy progresses. It’s also really important to me that I find someone I feel genuinely comfortable with and can trust—someone warm, supportive, and easy to talk to. I plan to give birth at NRGH and my family doctor is an OBGYN so he will be my provider throught my pregnancy. I hope to give birth vaginally with some kind of medical pain management however its important to me that I be able to move around and Id rather not give birth on my back. Im looking into doula support because I would like to have help advocating for myself and some guidance through the birth process. I am historically a pretty anxious person and have previously experienced pregnancy loss. I dont exactly know what budget I should have Im just trying to get a read on prices? I dont have a whole lot of expendable income and would be absolutely willing to have a new/student doula. My sibling is a new doula and Ive seen how hard it was for them to get the first couple families so I have a soft spot for those starting out!

I believe in natural childbirth and want zero intervention. I plan to give birth in Richmond hospital. I have given birth twice: 1) a healthy vaginal birth and 2) pre term birth at 19 weeks. This is my third birth, second child. I studied hypnobirthing and want to practice it throughout birth.

Looking for prenatal and post natal services. Developing a birth plan and after labour care

I plan to give birth at BC Womens Hospital with a midwife. My budget for a doula is up to $2,000 maximum. I would like to stay home as long as possible before heading to the hospital for delivery. I don't have too many preferences for the provider, but it would be nice if they had experienced labour so they can guide me. I am 30, first time pregnancy, looking for emotional support and someone to be my advocate if needed.

I want support during the labour time. Someone who have experience with successful natural births. Help with massages and pushing techniques during labour. I plan to do medicated natural birth at hospital

HI, my husband and I are planning to deliver at BR Women's Hospital. The expected due date is Dec 24th. We live in Burnaby, close to Metrotown. Our budget is somewhat flexible but preferably within 1000-1500. We do not yet have a birth plan. That's something we hope the doula would help us with since we are both first time parents and don't really have a ton of knowledge on the whole birthing thing. We are hoping to work with someone who can prepare the both of us for what's to come - share knowledge, skills, answer questions and support.
