I am planning on delivery at St. David's North Austin hospital, but live in Rockdale, so timing and preparation are key! I need a certified doula to help at night a couple times a week. I really need a full nights rest. During the night they will be in charge of a 8 week old. They are to feed and change his diaper. It will also be helpful to put together my pump parts and bring it to me once during the night. Average time would be 12am-8am. No budget.

Hello! I am just starting a search for a doula. I’m 39, this will be my first baby, brought to us by IVF. I live in Ankeny, I need to choose between delivering at Mercy West or Methodist West. I got in at Iowa Clinic so that’s where I’m going for OB. I would like to deliver vaginally, but I respect medical opinions. I just also want support to advocate for myself. I’m looking for help planning and preparing for birth. I also had a breast reduction at 18, so I am unsure whether I will be able to breastfeed and how much.
