I am not sure exactly where I would like to give birth, I aspire to give birth at home but since this is my first baby I’m not sure I’ll be able to. I would like to find a midwife that is compatible with me and my baby, I’m not sure what my budget. I hope to have a natural birth, with ease and confort and feeling like I am in control of my body. I will be 28 at the time of birth.. I would like to give birth at home but cannot find a midwife so may have to resort to a hospital and I’d like to have a water birth. I am open to discussing budget. I hope to have my husband and mum with me at the time of birth. I require someone calm, with a wealth of knowledge and experience in supporting women through a trauma informed lens. Also - nutrition is important to me so someone who understands healthy nutrition and holistic care. English spoken well is necessary, French is optional but would be nice. I hope to have night care at least 2-3 times a week as my husband will be travelling for work over a couple months postpartum. I hope to sleep train and get some help with laundry/basic chores for baby. Open to discuss hourly rates or packages.
