About me

I am a Birth and Postpartum Doula, Childbirth Educator, Breastfeeding Counselor and Closing the birth ceremony specialist. I am also a South Florida mother of two, and the creator behind MotheRetreat. I myself have experienced both a medicated hospital birth and an unmedicated home birth. My aim is that every mother feels grounded, nourished, empowered and ready to take on motherhood! I make sure that each woman that works with us is receiving physical and mental care both before and after birth, evidence based knowledge to make informed decisions, and one of one support from her village of professionals in the field during this transitional time.

During pregnancy, I was seriously on edge, feeling majorly stressed out. While it's an incredible journey, the thought of labor? Terrifying! That's when my friend suggested I consider having a Doula, and wow, what a game-changer! Discovering someone like Olga in our city felt like winning the jackpot. I fully invested in the labor package, along with postpartum support and even placenta encapsulation - which, by the way, turned out to be way cooler and more helpful than I ever imagined. Olga completely surpassed my expectations, and I'm just incredibly grateful for everything she did!

Olga, my birth doula, was incredibly prepared and supportive, offering various tools to ease contractions pre-epidural. She transformed the labor room into a peaceful haven at night. Nadine, my postpartum doula, provided exceptional care for both me and my newborn. I wholeheartedly recommend them for their expertise and support during and after birth.

I am so grateful to Olga for her help after my baby was born. At first, everything seemed insurmountable; I can't imagine how I could have coped without her support. Those were foggy weeks, but Olga was there for me, not only helping with the baby but also making sure I was okay. I encourage all new moms looking for support to reach out to her; she doesn't just help, she has become part of our family's story.

My husband and I took Olga's birth class at our place. Olga's way of teaching is straightforward yet impactful, making complex topics easy and engaging. This class was a lifesaver when things at the hospital didn't go as planned, giving us the confidence to make informed choices. I'd suggest every expecting parent consider this class. It's a great prep for the unpredictability of childbirth.
