Birth doula jobs and postpartum doula jobs across Oregon, on one board.
This is our first child and would like to go low/no interventions as possible. We like the idea of being home for as long as possible, since it’s our first kid we hope to eventually transition into the hospital but to do the majority of laboring at home with a possible water birth. We would like to receive more education around different interventions, creating a birth plan, and techniques to help with birthing!
Birth Center birth in salem oregon, looking for doula fluent in sign language Have PacificSource Community solutions (medicaid) which fully covers credentialed providers.
Hi! We are planning to give birth at the St. Charles Birthing Center. Our budget is not huge, but can be flexible if it means accessing care that we thing would be beneficial to us and our baby girl. We don’t have a strict birth plan, but I’d say our goal is less interventions, without epidural and pictocin specifically but preferably without meds at all, ability to move around, the least amount of traffic possible in and out of the room, intuitive pushing, etc. We want someone who has a good amount of experience, but an ideal match would be someone who shares our goals previously mentioned. We don’t have any specific special needs — I am in my 20s and my husband in his 30s. Thanks so much for taking the time!
Looking for a part time postpartum doula to start in September. Someone who can create a secure attachment with the baby and offer support 1-2 days in the week and 1 weekend day to start. Ideally in a 4 -5 hour block morning to mid day. Great if bilingual in Spanish but not a deal breaker. Looking for someone with experience with a newborn and comfort with helping do household chores holding and changing the baby.
