My first baby's due date is 9/20/2026. I would love to find a doula that can vouch for me in a hospital setting. We're planning on going to Jordan Valley Hospital. Ideally, I'd like to have a water birth with other ways to manage pain, nitrous gas, etc. Budget is around 2,000.

Give birth at hospital, looking for mental and emotional support

I have a blended family ( 2 teenage step kids at home 50% of the time) and a 2 year old toddler. This is my second biological baby. And I’m looking for support for after the birth. Help managing any pain from labor or breastfeeding, help with toddler, emotional support. Light tasks at home. as far as budget I am not sure, I would want to start with a package of $500 and see from there

I want to have a home birth. This is my second baby and I feel like I can do it. I don’t know my budget but it’s really low since my family is currently struggling and I don’t know how I am gonna afford a hospital birth.

My wife and I aren’t 100% sure of needs yet but we plan to deliver in hospital with our obgyn and then will likely want some help at home in the postpartum phase. Not sure if this means 5-7 days a week or 2 or what yet…. Hoping to understand better potential services and associated costs. Might want some help with overnights but likely day time could suffice as well. Ideally spending a couple thousand a month or so for a few months.

This is my first pregnancy and I will be giving birth at Alta view hospital. I will be 40 years old when I deliver so someone who has experience with advanced maternal age. My wife and I are expecting our first child in Late September. We have family here in the valley but we've been advised on the benefits of hiring a doula for both the birthing and postpartum phases. My wife has expressed to me the difficulties she's had with managing anxieties about things that can go wrong so any resources we can use to prepare for both pre and post partum depression would be something we're interested in too. We'd like to have those resources identified and ready to take advantage of before we need them. We are currently planning on scheduling the birth at IMC.

I am seeing an OBGYN at the University of Utah hospital here in Salt Lake but I am searching for a doula that could advocate for my more natural leaning birth plan in case I am unable to do so. This is my first baby and I am more wholistic minded but do not completely trust that the hospital will respect my wishes and I am hoping to find someone that will be consistent with my wishes and advocate for them where needed. I am also looking for someone that is covered by Aetna insurance.

I would like to give birth here at my apartment or at a local birth center. Not a hospital but somewhere where I can birth possibly in water & just naturally. I did my last baby natural in the hospital & I loved it so I don’t see a point going to the hostpial again. I would just like it to be as cheap as possible.

I plan on giving birth at LDS hospital in SLC. I’m taking hypnobirthing classes, and hoping to give birth in a tub. My husband won’t be present, but my mom will, she doesn’t speak Spanish so I’m hoping to find someone bilingual, but if that’s not possible I’m okay with that. I want someone that can advocate for me when I can’t. I’m also looking for someone that would accept Tricare West insurance.
