I will be giving birth to my 3rd child and this is my 4th pregnancy. I will be planning to give birth at my hospital birthing center if I still qualify under their requirements. I have never hired a doula, so this is all new to me. my last birthing center provided one as part of giving birth at the center, but after discharge i was never given any doula care PP. i am planning for a second natural birth, and would love to work with a doula to help support those needs (education, support, encouragement, etc.).

I’m planning to give birth at Alta View Hospital in Sandy, Utah, and I’m hoping to find a doula who can support me through this very personal and delicate experience. My budget is ideally $2,200 or less, depends on the doulas experience. I’m hoping to have a natural delivery if possible, and I’m looking for a doula who is not only supportive during labor but also an educator. I would really value someone who can help me understand what my body is going through, prepare me for different stages of labor, and teach me coping techniques and ways to stay calm and confident. This will be a new and emotional experience for me, so I’m looking for someone who will make me feel safe, heard, and supported while also respecting my wishes and helping me advocate for the birth experience I’m hoping for.

I’m currently pregnant with my 3rd and last baby. Either my first I gave birth to her under 6 hours with limited medication. With my second I had an extremely traumatic forced unmedicated birth not so to medical complications but due to a doctor who made a decision without my consent nor my husband’s. My second birth was 4 hours long. My deliveries are getting shorter so If avoidable I do not want to give birth in a hospital again.

Hello, I’m looking for a postpartum/night doula. I’ve never used one before, but this is my third and most likely last baby and i don’t want to regret never using those services. I’m currently 37 weeks, high risk, and i have HG pregnancies, so I’m wanting to give myself some help postpartum as well as to my husband, to transition to a family of 5 without over-using my family support network. Located in Heber Valley. Because this is new to me, I’m unsure of all that it entails . I would love to know what services you offer, pricing, about you etc. to see if we make a good fit. Since I’m still pregnant, I’m unsure of a starting date. The care would most likely be to help do any light chores, and help me (and my husband) get the most sleep we can in the early days. Looking for support and education for a hospital birth (Intermountain Medical Center) which will be supervised by our obstetrician. Hoping for minimum necessary medical intervention (e.g. no or low-dose epidural). Hoping to focus on breathing, mindset, mobility during delivery. Also looking for lactation consultant support as needed. Certified doula and lactation consultant required. We are a 29 year old first time mom with supportive spouse. English language primary. Budget around $3,000 total but open to negotiation.

Give birth at hospital, looking for mental and emotional support

I want to give birth in hospital with OB. I just need someone to help me during labor and post labor and the first few weeks 1-2 nights while I adjust . I also need help learning basic things. How to burp correctly, how to swaddle, how to bathe things like that. Requirements at least 4 years of experience and certified doula . Also possible help with cleaning and laundry

4th baby I have had pretty quick labor and deliveries my first 2 was a 5 hour start to finish upon arrival to birth o had epidurals with them however my 3rd was born 9 minutes after arriving at the hospital no epidural. I was in NY with midwives at Stonybrook hospital and my friends mom who’s the head of midwifery delivered my last and my friends cousin delivered my second so I’ve had very comfortable familiar experiences. My first I delivered with an obgyn who was my regular provider bc it was my first and I was nervous and wanted a dr. She gave me an episotomy which was a tougher recovery I tore a tiny bit in that scar line with my second but my friends mom really supported everything and bc it was so quick I didn’t tear at all with my 3rd. I do not want an episotomy and I want the OB to support so I don’t tear. I’m having more birth anxiety than I had the past 3 times bc my environment is new and I’m 6 years older than I was at my last birth. I understood how to push and it was luckily never an issue however I’m older and I had back surgery two years ago a lamenectomy and disectomy so that changes things maybe a bit. My first 3 were back to back in three years and this is an unexpected surprise I thought I was done but life had other plans. I’m more nervous than I ever have been about this birth though and thought a doula could maybe help…. I’m giving birth at park city hospital my due date it Jan 24 but my last three were all 3-7 days early. After care would also be a consideration since we are away from family and have 3 other school aged kids.

I want to have a home birth. This is my second baby and I feel like I can do it. I don’t know my budget but it’s really low since my family is currently struggling and I don’t know how I am gonna afford a hospital birth.

This is our first baby. Would love someone to show us at home care, to make sure we are doing everything correctly. We are also scared on handling new born baby. We would like a doula at least for few weeks after the baby is born. Sleep training is a must.

My wife and I are expecting our first child in Late September. We have family here in the valley but we've been advised on the benefits of hiring a doula for both the birthing and postpartum phases. My wife has expressed to me the difficulties she's had with managing anxieties about things that can go wrong so any resources we can use to prepare for both pre and post partum depression would be something we're interested in too. We'd like to have those resources identified and ready to take advantage of before we need them. We are currently planning on scheduling the birth at IMC.
