Hello, I am a 26 year old mom about to give birth to my second baby. I attempted breastfeeding with my first baby and ultimately had lactation failure. Not a “low supply” but a nearly “no supply” after doing what I was told were all the right things. I’m trying to learn if with some lifestyle and/or technique changes, it would even be a possibility. I’ve done my best to prepare during this pregnancy, but I need help as to the best course of action postpartum. I’m currently 40 weeks and 3 days. Would greatly appreciate some help! I would prefer someone experienced with anomalies like mine AND that can be covered by insurance. Thanks!

I am planning to give birth with the midwives in the beacon health system. I would like a doula who can help with labor coaching, specifically with suggesting best labor position and strategies for labor progression and pain management. I plan to have a water birth. Our estimated budget is $800.

I need to know if my baby is latching correctly. Not every time but, Sometimes when he feeds he gets fussy, he unlatches and cries; it can be difficult to feed him again until i calm him down. Not sure if its gas or if he isnt eating.

I am concerned that my little guy is not getting enough breast milk from me, so I have been pumping after feeds to boost my supply. I have been struggling to find the right flange fit for my breasts. My right and left breasts are different sizes. I am able to get at least an once from my right after feeds and almost nothing from my left. I will hand express the left after pumps and get regular streams, but for some reason I cannot get it out with the pump.

Would like for guidance on if my baby is latching correctly or not because at night she seems to get fussy and not satisfied after feedings.
