We are having trouble getting our infant to latch. She was born 11/11/2025 and is a good eater with both formula and breast milk but only via bottle right now. We would prefer an at home visit if possible as we had less issues in the hospital than we are at home. We are in Batavia IL

I am in need to desperate help. I had my baby almost two months ago from time of birth until now she had been exclusively breastfed, and I love the connection we formed but she is start day care in one week. I also pump and I really need her to take a bottle. She refuses too, I’ve tried 8 different bottle brands and she will not take them. With her going to daycare I need for her to accept a bottle so she will be able to eat when I’m not around. I’m need help ASAP!

Need help and advice for breastfeeding, my baby won’t latch for more than 5 minutes

I suspect oral ties and related neck tension in my newborn. He shows preference for looking to one side, feeding on one side, frequent back arching, recessed chin, lip blisters post feeding, takes frequent “breaks” when nursing/usually falls asleep when nursing.

I have a 2 month old baby that I did not initially breastfeed. My milk did come in but dried up. I would like to try to pump to relactate to be able to provide breast milk to my baby. I do not know if this is even possible.

I started breastfeeding exclusively and started very well but had to bottle feed for a week, due to my nipples being cracked. That was about a month ago and now I’m trying to get her to latch again.

I’m pregnant with twins and due August 9th. We live in Columbia, MO. I tried to breastfeed my firstborn, who is now two years old, but it was a nightmare. She would fall asleep instead of feeding, no matter what the lactation consultants or nurses did. I also had several very long sessions where I tried to breastfeed her but I don’t think she was getting milk. She would cry. I had to use nipples guards to help her latch but they would keep falling off. I ended up triple feeding for a while (trying to breast feed, then feeding pumped milk or if I didn’t have enough milk, feeding formula) but it was utterly exhausting. I pumped but I started producing less and less milk. I got mastitis and then shortly after my milk stopped producing. I want to try to breastfeed the twins, but I know I will need a lot of support. One of the biggest challenges in getting support last time, was that I was too sleep deprived to drive to a lactation consultant and I had no one to drive me. I would love to find someone to come to our house.
