I plan on giving birth at SSM Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt Vernon, IL. I need a lactation consultant who accepts IL Medicaid. I was induced with my previous baby at 37 weeks due to cholestasis, and don’t have much of a plan with this one other than to have a vaginal birth. My previous experience with breastfeeding was awful, so I was to set myself up for success this time around.

I am a first time mom and would love to have someone there that can advocate for me/help me with any questions I have! I have an amazing husband, but this is new to both of us so we would love to have someone there with all the expertise that can make this process as easy, fun, and enjoyable as possible! Looking for a lactation consultant to help breastfeed our child

I plan to give birth at a hospital in Nashville. Since our insurance does not cover a doula our estimated budget is $1000. I am not sure exactly what my birth plan will be. With a medical condition I think I do plan to get the epidural at some point. I do want delayed cord clamping, no eyedrops, and minimal interventions. I want my provider to be certified and have experience helping first time moms that do not deal with pain well. I am 25 and possible have POTS or Vasovagal syncopy. I would love someone who also is a lactation consultant

Baby and mom are struggling with a pain free breastfeeding experience. Baby is having a hard time getting a deep full latch. Baby is also falling asleep at the breast while only feeding for a few minutes.

Nipple damage to left nipple. Milk in breast but not being able to express it no matter what is tried. Supply dropping due to this ongoing issue. 28 year old, 2 months pp. Second time mom and pumping journey. I didn’t have these issues before. I need someone to help me. I went to a lactation consultant at my hospital which I gave birth and the care received was of no help. I want to be able to provide food for my 2 month old up to 1 year, as I was able to with my last baby. My nipple seems to be elastic and according to the lactation consultant I need a 22-22mm flange. But my nipple is so swollen and hurts so badly whether I use baby or pumps.
